Situated in the upmarket suburb of Meerensee, Richards Bay, Richards Bay BnB nestles comfortably in the private street named "Musselcracker".

Less than two kilometers from the nearest shops and take-aways, Richards Bay BnB is also conveniently close to the main beach, Alkanstrand, and the Richards Bay Waterfront at Tuzi Gazi with its magical restaurants, deep sea fishing charters and harbour cruises. A skate park at the beach provides hours of entertainment for those keen on this taxing sport.

The beaches around Pelican and Naval Islands are popular picnic sites, and Pelican Island in particular is a lovely, protected place to lie on the beach or swim.

Richards Bay is home to many active sports men and women who belong to clubs such as the Yacht Club, the Ski-boat Club, the Multi-Sports Club, the Scuba Diving Club, the Rugby Club, the Golf Club, the Kayak Club, Streaker Night Club, Saddles Night Club, and of course, the Virgin Active.

Richards Bay city center is based around the main shopping centre, The Boardwalk, which hosts, among other shops, a Game, Checkers, Pick 'n Pay, Ster Kinekor, DisChem and all the other types of places you expect to find in any decent shopping centre.

The Rooms

Richards Bay BnB has three rooms that can, all together, accommodate a maximum of 8 guests at any one time. The Sunbirds Nest and the Robin's Nest can both accommodate a maximum of two guests. The Kingfisher's Nest can accommodate up to four guests.

The Specials

Richards Bay BnB offers two family year round specials:

1. One combining The Robin's Nest and The Kingfisher's Nest together,
2. the other is a family special rate in The Kingfisher's Nest,
both on a serviced family package, (beds made and dishes washed for you), with some self catering facilities including a fridge, microwave and kettle. Breakfast is an optional extra for these packages and will be added on to the price.

Richards Bay BnB also offers a company / group special:

1. Five (sharing), or six individuals,(all but one sharing), at a special rate for dinner, bed and breakfast and an optional lunch pack
or
2. Five (sharing), or six individuals,(all but one sharing), at a special rate organising their own meals.
